Re: Some Junior pics, just because.

Supposedly they do. I know Keith Urban has one, although I don't know the year, or if it's the original finish. Or if it's even a Gibson.

Re: Some Junior pics, just because.

There's a photo of an original 1961 Sunburst Les Paul Special Doublecut in the Norman's Rare Guitars book. Insanely good condition as well.

Cheers

Re: Some Junior pics, just because.

Here is my ugly betty, 1957Jr. Looks terrible, sounds great. Bought for $300 + $25 for a case in 1988. The finish is like Thompsons Water Seal. I call it deck stain burst. I think the electronics are correct and there are no breaks. If anyone sees anything wrong lemme know please. As pictured, this guitar is sporting the Pigtail and accurate truss rod cover I got recently from Greg. I also put some TonePros on. The Pig + the TonePros was a big improvement.

Re: Some Junior pics, just because.

The whammy has been there since day one. Not sure if it was installed by the music store or Gibson, but it was on the guitar when my father in law bought it new back in '61. It behaves very well. Willie's American guitars in St Paul says it could be either but suspects the dealer did it, the podium guitars in Minneapolis, says he thinks its factory. I've seen early SGs with that trem but on Juniors I've only ever seem the filled holes.
