Re: Vintage Gibson Owners, post your inventory here
The R9K sounds great with the seymour duncan's. I've put in many pickups including a real paf, but I just like the warmth of the SD. The re-issue pickups that came in it run a close 2nd though...

1965 Country Western
This is my 1965 Country Western. There are some questions on this that I cannot answer such as: The PG goes all the way up to the sound hole and I am not sure if these are the original tuning machines (but I don't think so).
Anyway it sounds great! |

Here's a '57 Goldtop that's in the vault and we just got a '59 LP Special that looks as if it's never been played. Pictures coming soon!

Re: 1965 Country Western
Beautiful guitar! I'm not sure about the pickguard, but I am pretty sure those tuners are aftermarket. Do they say Grover on them? I have Grovers that look identical on my old Harmony archtop. They hold tune for weeks.

Lefty,
How do you like the Harmony archtop? There's a 60's one for sale locally, I was thinking about taking a look at it. Papa |

Re: Vintage Gibson Owners, post your inventory here
You will get there one day man. I had to get a few years into my career before I had the cash & priority to spend on them. But it is a slippery slope; once you spend $20K on a guitar, it is easy to do it again, and again, and again, etc.
