Re: The 1959 Les Paul Debate ...What made them So Great ?

Great pics (and great thread Bobbo) For me it was Jimmy page, I was 10 or 11 and just started playing and Getting into Zeppelin. I remember when i bought "The Song Remains the Same" on VHS and just started drooling over his amazing looking guitars. Then I stared getting into the History of these fine guitars and there was no turning back. One of the coolest experiences I had was working in a Vintage Guitar store about 4 years ago and getting to play a real '58, I was 19 at the time and said to myself "I think I AM the luckiest 19 year odl alive right now" lol. I was able to look at a real 59 but It sold instantly so I fought the urge and didn't play it lol. Pure Icon Guitar
