Looks like fun to me. I'd finish the job by doing the Vox Phantom thing, drop in an early 50's P-90. paint it black, and play the hell out of it.

If I could afford it, I would have a new nut cut, fill the tuner holes and redrill the headstock for eight, then string it like a bouzouki, since it's already in the shape. It could make a great non-guitar project.

I have absolutely no doubt that he could fix this, Greg is magic.

The problem is, would it be cost effective to do so? Maybe salvage the neck, but it might just be better to make a new body rather than try to salvage the old one
