I do not know if Andreja or A as i called him was a member here or not.I am sure some of you guys knew him or had heard of him.A was a real guitar lover and yes they have those even in Serbia.He passed suddenly yesterday.Although i never met A face to face we E-mailed often to talk guitars.I MISS HIM ALREADY.Thanks Mike Bowen.

I had conversed with him a few times thru emails as well.Seemed like a super guy and very passionate about guitars and music.

He will be missed.

I didn't know him personaly but I did read a lot of his posts at the other place and his knowledge and passion for vintage Gibson's was very evident. He will be missed.

I did not know Andreja Marovic, or even communicate with him often,
but I always found his questions to be extremely insightful. Back in 2005,
he asked Dave Carpenter some wood related questions on the Les Paul
Forum, that started a conversation in which Dave gave very direct and
reveling answers about Gibson’s wood use that I still refer to today.
I am saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed. Condolences to
his family.

maybe someone is willing and able to get into contact with his family and have them to see, how sad many people feel about him passing and how much he was liked in the guitar world. Sometimes sharing just helps to seize the grief, but that is just one thought from me

Oh dear God.... spent many an hour on the phone and skype with Andreja and considered him a dear friend. One of the sweetest men I've ever known, a true connoisseur of vintage guitars. The man loved rock and roll from the heart and he "got it" 100% when it came to the importance of music as communication. Very sad to lose a friend like this. In shock.
