Does this look right?

I'm interested in another Les Paul but the volute doesn't look right. Thoughts?

it looks like it has had a neck repair & someone tried to add wood (like a volute) to make the neck joint stronger

based o the shpe of the head i already had a volute and likely broke where the volute is.

It’s close enough to go have a look in person. If it has the potential to be as nice as my 73 GT I'll pull the trigger.

I lived here from 92-96. I met/married an english rose and have had that argument every week since then....it's good to be back but man did it get expensive.
