'53 Junior Article by Gruhn

Juniors didn't officially become a model until '54 - I just stumbled across this article by Gruhn about an interesting '53. Thought that some of you might enjoy this short little read:

Was that in this past VG Magazine? I thought it was very good and informative & I enjoyed it very much

Very cool. Enjoyed reading that. I'll bet there are plenty of one offs from around that time. Read a book called the McCarty era. Seems they were in a time of musical transition in this period and many products were tried and tested. Thanks again.

Did you notice the P90 cover and pickguard??

TFL and Matt - glad you found it interesting - its about time that I contributed something back after all that I've learned from the guys here!

Jimi - I did notice the pickguard, because it was mentioned - but I didn't notice the P90 cover until you just pointed it out - very cool looking.

I need to subscribe to that magazine I think! I was actually google-ing to see if there is a "Les Paul" magazine/publication of sorts, and stumbled on that article. Is Vintage Guitar Magazine a good one? (aside from this very interesting article, that is...)

It looks like that article was published a week ago - it might not even be in print yet...?
