Killer playing and tune!
Side note, Edgar sure has one monstrous zit on his cheek lol Cannot help it, I notice the small details I wonder if it turned into a talking boil like the one in "How To Get Ahead in Advertising"? |

Re: Johnny Winter ; Good as Gold
Winter is a giant and a living legend. Responsible for producing Muddy Waters lp, "Hard Again." For that we owe him an unbelievable debt. Not to mention his contributions as a guitarist.
If you're young, see em if you can. He won't be around forever. |

Re: Johnny Winter ; Good as Gold
I saw Johnny at the Cabooze here in Mpls, MN years ago. Was an incredible experience to actually see him live. Easily one of my all-time favorites. His version of Bob's Highway 61 is great.
Never saw a vid with him and an LP before, I don't believe. |

Re: Johnny Winter ; Good as Gold
He pretty much resurrected Muddy's career. Had it not been for JW, I wouldn't have learned about Muddy for another decade or so. Bless his heart, he's a bluesman. A real bluesman.

Re: Johnny Winter ; Good as Gold
Wow. Just wow. Great posts. Nice spot on Tommy Shannon - sounds just the same as he did with SRV. And isn't that an Epi Wilshire Johnny's playing in the second clip?
