Bloomfield Burst

I beleive this is my first New Thread post in the Vintage LP section. There seems to be a fair amount of interest in Mike Bloomfield at MLPF so I thought I'd share.
This morning I watched Junior Wells' biographical DVD, "Don't Start Me Talkin': The Junior Wells Story". At 26min in there is a clip of a concert performed in 1974, Jr. with Johnny Winter and what appears to be Mike Bloomfield on guitars. I'm no authority on Bloomfield (I don't even know what year he passed away) but if it's him it appears he is playing a "Burst". Don't know if this guitar is one of several he owned or its THE Bloomfield Burst. The shot only lasts a short time but the quality of the shot is rather good; revealing guitar wise. I'm not sure if it's possible to take a frame out of the DVD and create a print. Maybe interesting to Bloomfield fans.

Re: Bloomfield Burst

Does it show a reverse chevron flame pattern? If so, then I'm guessing it's "the" Bloomfield burst.

Am I right? or...

Love how he talks about about being on the same wavelength with Clapton & Green with their LPs.

Here's a live clip as the Electric Flag. TONE for days!

Take a close look. There's a pick tucked between the strings at the first fret throughout the entire song. Good thing there were no open chords.

sure, if you have a few mill to spare, and Carlos does actually own it, have your lawyer contact his management firm.
