Have money to spend. When Gruhn opened the new store they moved all the nice stuff upstairs. This cuts down on the "tire kickers".

If you look at the Red in that Burst !! you can see it once had a Bigsby tremolo !!!

Re: The secret room

why would you even want so many guitars :S
I think I'd be happier having maybe about 4 LPs and allowing other passionate players own some of those guitars

Maybe because you're a billionaire guitar lover/player who appreciates the burst enough as an instrument/investment that you buy all you can to keep them in this country...............once they are gone overseas, they are basically GONE.

why gone? I mean.. would it be such a problem if for example, I had one?
I don't see the difference between an american enthousiast and a european enthusiast

I know who DZ is !!! I just object to hording !!! That is 150 Lp's that could be in players hands making music instead of collecting dust !!! although i'm sure Dirk's vault is airtight !!!!!!

I just think of Clapton, Page, Jeff Beck, Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, Koss, Keith, Mick Taylor ...
Seems to me that at least some of the guys who are kind of responsible for the Les Paul fame and therefore for the existence of this and other forums are from Europe.

Just my 2 cents.
