Mike ness?

Can anyone tell me what kind of les paul mike ness used back in the day? ( the one with the road runner sticker ) Ive always wanted one, I believe it is a 1973 les paul deluxe with a p90 mod.

I think it's a '71 but otherwise yeah, you are pretty much on the money.

Thats acutally not the road runner. Looks a bit like him though lol... Its the mascot of a muffler brand called Thrush mufflers. You can find those stickers at auto parts stores sometimes, im sure you can find them online as well. His decal has a cigar in the ducks mouth though, i duno if you can get them like that of if he added that in.

I sold him some 70's P-90 pickups....and some other guitars and amps....back in the 90's. Neat guy.

When I saw Social D awhile back I believe Mike was playing a Bassman head through a Marshall cab. Not sure of the years, maybe someone else can chime in!

the similarity's are uncanny, id say thrush copied mr. horsepower then, or vice versa... which ever came first.... at a first glance those two are way to similar.
