Cool.

I bought one of those 61-62's a while ago for $10. Looking for the same thing, an unmolested, unmarked early one.

Wish more folks would put up some potted histories of the small parts. It all helps identify what you've got.

I've asked Burstmeup to come on over and do some.
His displays are excellent and over at skid row, they just talk

You know what, I have worked very hard in my life to have a stress free environment. I got rid of all aquaintences, friends, people that create or give me unwanted stress. A lot of the time the guys over there have no life and just want to rant or put down because their bored. If I am wrong pointing something out with a Les Paul just say that is incorrect, I think this is the right answer and spell it out. When I grew up in Brooklyn you know how we handled things, very simple and I will leave it at that. I have zero tolerance for a person who thinks there are the shit behind a computer screen. I just want a friendly discussion board and have fun. I am hoping that we can create that here. That is enough of my rant, and lets get back to parts, electronics and of course Les Pauls.

It's nice to see some real fans of the Les Paul rather than bickering, anal t**spots.

I've begun taking the p*ss out of the "mines better than yours" lot over there and having a laugh at their expense. Don't think I'll be inviting anyone else to join from there.

Nice to see you over here Maple.....Hows the "dirty" GT doin? Sound nice?

Aren't we here to play them and enjoy?.......That's what I do.

I love it Bro, I just got some pigtail saddles for it and put them in the original bridge, what a difference. I can't put that guitar down. I think you gave me my name for her "GT Dirty". I too look forward to playing these wonderful instraments, I consider my self beyond lucky. Good to hear from ya.

looking forward to getting my well worn '70 Deluxe. It's on it's way from the "Good Ole" as we speak. Nice rough, worn finish (similar to yours- slightly more arm wear) and looks nice and grubby (seems to have a scum line around the volute- nice!

I need everything! I only got wood when I bought the guitar! Was talkin to BCRGreg about a Pigtail ABR, tail and studs on friday! I'm gonna need all the EElectronics and plastic! Strap buttons and Tuners! Unfortunately original stuff might be out of my price range BUT I'd still like to see what ya got and maybe I can swing it as I still have at least 5 months (I think) before Dave Johnson needs parts from me!

I can't argue with going with Steve's parts first.

Plastic, I can point you to the best , I have some genuine electronics
at a fair price. Send me your email address and I'll call you .
