So.... V2?

I have made some changes to the circuit over version 1....

Whats new?

This circuit is built on a pre fabricated circuit board using the circuit lay out for a bosstone... however its not really a bosstone. I have changed just about all values on this board, cap values, some resistor values, both transistors, as well as clipping (i use LED clipping in this circuit) ... the result? Pretty damn cool sounding!!!!!

Version two uses both a silicone and NOS germanium transistor vs two silicones, i have also tweaked the capacitor values for a little better bass response. version 2's fuzz is a bit warmer and more organic as a result of the germanium transistor. The pedal is still able to do all the things version one did (can act as a dirty boost, OD, and fuzz) and is also very responsive to your guitars volume control, so you can go from hairy fuzz, to mild warm fuzz, to warm fuzzy overdrive using either the controls on the pedal, or your guitars volume control.

you can also use this fuzz in front of an amp thats already overdriven for some insane fuzz tones!

V2 has a magic mix of components, and since it is built to work with your guitars volume control, no matter what pups your using you can get a cool sound out of this pedal. If your pups are thin, max out the fuzz on the pedal, if your pups are meaty and the maxed out setting is too much for you, simply back off on your guitars volume knob to open the tone up a little =)

This is one of my favorite fuzz tones that ive ever heard, and im not just saying that because i built it lol... This circuit pulls all kinds of sutble overtones out of the fuzz, and when dialed back it is capable of a very warm vintage tone.

If you get one, you simply HAVE to play inagaddadavida at least once with it =)

i was pretty happy with the outcome of this batch and tried to capture a true representation with the photographs, i think they always look better in person though.

these all feature the bright blue on/off LED as well =)

That sounds great, and I like how the demo is well balanced. A lot of demos only play lead and leave out chords. Us sloppy strummers need to hear the chords!

i tried to give an "all around" idea of what the pedal sounds like with various picking/strumming styles.

the video gives a pretty good representation of the tone produced by this box, however it does not do it full justice imho.... in person you can truly hear all the sutuble hints of overtones, you can sort of pick up on it in the video in certian spots, but nothing like in person...
