"Bling Fuzz" Version 2 ***Video Demo***

the "Bling Fuzz" Version 2 is now a reality!

Whats new? Version 2 uses both a silicone and NOS germanium transistor vs two silicones, the capacitor values have been tweaked for a little better bass response as well.

Clipping is still provided via two 3mm red LEDs.

The "Bling Fuzz" is based on the Bosstone™circuit, however just about all values have been tweaked or changed, including caps, resistor values, both transistors, and the clipping section.... so yeah, pretty much everything lol.

Anyways, enough jibba jabba.... lets hear it! (by the way, the audio is pretty decent and gives a good representation of the pedals tone, however i still havent figured out how to get the levels into the sweet spot when using an external mic, you hear a little poping here and there as a result of the levels going into the red.... pretty much what it boils down to is im using an entry level camera, with a high dollar mic and the camera does not know what to do with it lol... either way you get a good idea of what it sounds like )

I start out with the fuzz turned up 1/4 of the way, then move to 1/2, back and forth 3/4, ect, and finally wide open. you will hear me do this a few times throughout the video.

Look for a number of these to be for sale in the future, i just recently put in a order for parts to build a number of these =)

Thanks for watching!

Re: "Bling Fuzz" Version 2 ***Video Demo***

forgot to mention in the op, the video features both chords and single notes.

chords up until 1:45ish... then single note.... followed with some more chords, then more single notes.

I think I like it a little more than V. 1. It sounds less fuzzy but more... like a pissed-off overdrive, if that makes any sense.

dig it!

thank you =)

the two are very similar... the differences are more in character of the fuzz than anything else.

v2 is actually more fuzzy, but in a different way.

v1's silicone transistors produced a sharper fuzz, if that makes any sense... v2 has more of a hairy vintage fuzz.

i forgot to use the guitars volume knob in this video, it brightens up very well with the guitars volume knob and can actually sound a lot like v1.

=)
