Re: MHD update thread

Standard (USA) Gibsons is what you need. Your Epi, Ibanez etc are metric and will not work. You should be able to pick them up at any local shop that does repair/setup work.

Haven't had the time yet, and I still gotta figure out which guitar to put em in. My R8 has a MHD and a patent sticker t-top but I might swap em for these. Another set of MHDs (covered zebras) are going into a Moderne.

I need a goldtop.

Same here brother. Had no idea this thread was running. Also had no clue how sick Rayne was. Glad to hear you're felling better.

Re: MHD update thread

Shaun you still have not gotten yours yet. I sent you tracking a while ago. Maybe the beginning of the week. I sent them a day or so after Mooks.

Anyway no power from Wednesday morning till late Friday night. They switched over the power for us to a new grid. It is supposed to be more stable. From what i can see so far with the gusts from last night and the fact we did not lose power it worked. I will be doing what was supposed to go out last week on Tuesday. Sorry not my fault. I was in the middle of some ones pup when it went down.

Re: MHD update thread

I know that this is a Les Paul forum, but I'll post anyway - I got the Mean Beans for my strat and love them. Neck and middle give clean classic strat tones while bridge is verging on P-90 tone to my ears. I take forever to get the pickups adjusted to the height that is "right" to my ears, but these sound great.

Anyway, fantastic pickups.

Rayne - any plans for tele pups?

Re: MHD update thread

All is great this am. Doing labor day breakfast with the kids watching the rain outside and getting ready to load some 42 wire and get to work. I have 4 sets left to do then I am caught up. Look for a small sale later today for humbuckers and single coils. Very small 4 sets only for the buckers.

Re: MHD update thread

Check your email. Today you will have tracking. I test 1 out of evry 5 sets that go out in a specific wind and 1 set that was not upto par so I tested all that were wound that day and redid only 1 set. I just finished pulling them and reboxing the 3 sets and am on my way to the po here by 4pm my time. When I am 100% caught up I will have the mods remove this thread and start a new one with the new business model attached to it.
