Re: MHD update thread

Okay here is the update for a few days. I am not taking orders for till Wednesday I need to catchup. I will be shipping some today and then again on Wednesday and the rest by Friday. If I try and keep and update everyday I get stuck on here with sales and questions and just can not do it. I end up losing a couple hours everytime. Not that I do not love chatting and talking shop but right now I really need to get these things out of my head lol.

Take orders Rayne, just let em know it will be some time. Ill wait 6 weeks for a good pup! And a few weeks extra is ok, if you keep the customers informed you'll be sweet

Rayne has been outstanding! I could not be happier with his response time, he took the time to answer every single question no matter how elementry my question was. I look forward to receiving my pups.

Rayne - whats the status on the P90's? Cuz you know I am going to order a set !

Think its wise for him to admit hes giving to good of a deal to keep em shipping in the speed he would like. Me knowing its still just a one man winding mission, and its one serious mission. Keep taking orders at these volumes would just add up on the backlog.

Its time Rayne, u have talked about raising the price once the home page was up, and now it is.

Get em all out, get those raving reviews and ur set.

Re: MHD update thread

I am ready to review mine when thay are done. We will see how they perform. I told Rayne I wanted something that could do all my genres. Not just capable, but well. At his advice I am getting homewreckers because Rayne says they are the most versatile. BUT I play country, surf, jazz and classic rock (working into some alternative and funk). These pups are a quite hot, and I need to be able to pull clean tone. This will be a challenge that I know Rayne is up too.

Getting nice cleans from a hot pickup is something MHD can do. The ones I demoed at the Philly show definitely did that well. Bright and punchy clean.

Re: MHD update thread

Would be nice to have a real update on this so we all know whats going on :

1 - Who has ordered - in other words, payment recived

2 - Which ones are winded, waiting to be posted

3 - Which ones is sent, and what kind of shipment is used

4 - Who has recived their package

The orders outside mylespaul is at least not for me interesting, i just wanna know what the status is here and what to expect.

Re: MHD update thread

Has anyone received their pickups who has ordered in the last 6 weeks? I would like a specific answer as well on HOW the pickups were shipped and WHEN they were shipped. This is not leaving me with a good feeling to be honest. Customers need to receive an order number when buying product and a shipping confirmation when they go out the door.

I'll be the first in line to shout how great they are once I have them and they are are installed. Right now, I need to see the pickups hit my door.

Thanks

Alright boys lets not panic! I haven't gotten mine yet either. Maybe today?!!!?!???!? hope, hope.

No need to get worried. They will arrive!

Rayne, as much as I like the gesture of an update thread. I think you should zap this one. One thing goes wrong, you're backed up and you're updates can backfire. It's cool of you to want to keep people up to date, but I say you leave yourself some margin for error.

Under promise, over deliver!

Have faith - I'm awaiting my third order from Rayne and so far he's done nothing but deliver in spades with regards to what I've asked for.

I'd rather he not be updating this update thread and winding pickups instead

Re: MHD update thread

Hey guys

Raynes a pretty cool guy. There should be no need to worry. Family life is busy and hell, the prices he charges for custom winds, its crazy. I'm a VERY impatient person but in this case the wait will be worth it. I'd rather he take his time and keep the quality right up there (which is the reason why I went with MHDs in the first place) instead of rushing his winds and making them sub par (which he'd never do cause hes proud of his work).

Re: MHD update thread

believe me, Im not throwing Rayne under the bus here. I totally agree that the inconsistent content in the update threads is what is causing some indigestion. I also don't diasgree with the pricing commentary. The price is outstanding. I dont mind waiting and that is NOT my point.

Undercommit and over deliver. AND thats why I put in my comments communicate with each CUSTOMER with an order # and a ship date. We now resume our mailbox watching already in progress...

I dont want him rushing either and the fact that he is offering discounted pricing to help get the word out is awesome on his part. The recommendations before I agreed to purchase from others is outstanding. I totally appreciate him doing two custom winds for me.

Have a great weekend.
