Yeah that's what I will be using, those Sprague HYREL .022's are the caps I use on most of my LP wiring builds, they are some of the best Tone caps I have found so far

Sorry bro, Yeah in reference to 5F6-A post, it was his pic and your quote

Slides can open up a whole different type of guitar playing. I use open G a lot
DGDGBD for must slide stuff. but I can play slide well in standard because that is how I originally learned how to play it. Tush ZZ top etc, that is standard tuning. Buy a slide and try it out, it takes a while to get the hang of it. You actually play over the top of the frets instead of in between and you press the slide firmly to the strings but do not press them down to the fretboard as the slide is now your fret. I normally use slide on my pinky for standard tuning and on my ring finger for open tuning etc.

Paper In Oil has been favored over the ceramics for warmer tone, as the Bees in early LP's were PIO as the 160P's. I have the Sprague .022 PIO HYREL's and they are warm and crisp with great overall Tone, they are also available in a Relic'd paper and wax version. Some pics would be cool if you can get them to load?

Thanks, jonesy
Thank you. I attach a pic of the caps I had in when I got the guitar. In my other LP, the LP Classic I have got some of those LUXE Repro 1956-60 Bumblebee types, which sound great. How do you rate those? I was just wondering if you knew of something better out there!

Thanks again man

Those yellow caps look like Mallory's? Those Luxe repro's aren't bad, the .022 HYREL PIO by Sprague sound as good or better depending on who you talk to.

Been Chillin' out with Lil keef, I made a new bone nut and widened the string spacing just a bit and sanded down the back of the neck so it was really smooth. With the 5 strings it forces me to keep it in open G, lots of Cool Tones from this Tele

Thanks bro, Yeah it's a different beast for sure. I have been playing this thing non-stop ever since I built it. After I installed the second bone nut and did a few other tweaks I am really happy with it now.

Keith Richards wrote a lot of songs using this G tuning. You can play them in standard tuning but they just don't quite have the same vibe. Listen to the opening guitar licks in "Honky Tonk Woman" and you will get and idea of what this guitar can do. Then Listen to "Bad to the Bone" same tuning just played with a slide. I also worked out, "Brown Sugar", "Jumpin jack flash" and "Gimme Shelter", all in this same tuning.

If you set amp clean and play little linear scales up and down on the first two strings sounds kind of "exotic" cool modes when you play scales over the G drone. It also gives me a little more variety where I can switch off between this Tele and my Blue Strat with the "King Bee" Power trio.

RMC1 is working on a band logo kinda like the Circle Tone-Mojo logo

Hey I finally have internet back at my house, have been without it for about a week since my laptop fried out. I used another PC I had and set up a wireless access point so I am good to go for now.

I hope you enjoy this video of "Walkin Blues" check out the tab and the rest of the lesson at the Music Theory 101 thread here at MLPF. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Peace & Love, jonesy

Yes Sir, I am filling orders for several right now. I usually have them pre-wired ready to drop in. Were you looking for just the parts to assemble one your self?

Thanks, jonesy

FYI Just to let you all know if your have a wiring harness on order for your LP or SG or one of the Jimmy Page rigs, I have Parts coming in Next Tuesday. I will start building rigs and shipping them out later next week. Feel Free to send me a PM or give me a call about your order if you have any questions? You will probably get a confirmation from me before I ship your rig out, just to double check details. Have a great weekend, hope it is warmer where you are than it is here

Peace, jonesy
