how is it going?

I would like to get some nice caps for my les paul from you. Right now I have Jensens in there, that came with a RS kit but I am wondering if you have some that are maybe a little better to get the vintage rock sound I want I have a SD '59 in the neck and SD custom 5 in the bridge.

I don't really know too much about caps other than when I changed my epiphone ones to the Jensen it was a great improvement so I hope those will do the same thing and I know that the lower the value is the brighter they are, correct? so I guess I answered my question already the 15 one for the neck and the 22 for the bridge.

Those Gibson Pots are not considered by many players to be all that great. New CTS 500k would have much better feel and operation as well as better Tone. Drop in harness for your LP with .022 Sprague PIO caps, vintage cloth wire, volume blled kits run around $75 includes S&H for MLPF. You probably don't need a new 3 way switch or input jack but you can add those for $25 and they come pre-wired...here are some pics of a Lefty kit I mailed out today.


I toss in the volume bleed kits and you can add them on later, I run a bleed kit on the neck of my 99'LP Special and none on the bridge.

RUSSIAN MOJO ENROUTE' FROM THE UKRAINE
I have more of the Russian/Soviet PIO K40-Y Series on the way. They are the Tone caps in the Silver cases and are a very warm, sweet cap. They look like this.....

This next shipment is going to be .03 & .047 Values, I thought the .03's(.028-ish?) would be a great cap for LP's with bright bridge pickups or even neck pickup for a little more color than an .022? I needed some Primo .047's any way(out of GOODALL) for LP's with P-90's and Tele's so these K40 .047's should have killer Tone if they are any thing like the .022's I had. If anyone is interested just let me know, they should arrive in a week or so?

Jimmy Page/Zoso Wiring 2009 UPDATES: My Full blown 21 Tone Jimmy Page rigs are no longer available on ebay and I have pulled them and no longer doing them as a production item. They were consuming a big part of my life, as I currently had a 4-6 week wait for them. I am still building them now as a custom order harness(3 week build time), so if you want one you can check it out at my website Tonemojo.com and of course discounts to MLPF members. Later this year I hope to be offering some Jimmy Page kits that will include my 21 Tone JP wiring and a Pair of Humbuckers with 4 wires. For an off the shelf pickup I have been selling/recommending the Dimarzio 36th anniver. PAF's DP103 & DP223 but I may be talking to one of the pickup winders and see if they could do a few sets of some T-top style pickups, or some special "Handwounds" that would pair up with the Zoso wiring.


T-shirts & Stickers : It will be a while still, but closer to this Spring/Summer I would like to get some Jonesy Blues Custom Shop/Tone Mojo stickers and T-shirts made up in Black with one of the banner logos on them. The stickers would be free to those of you who have "Tone-Mojo" onboard and the Black Tone-Mojo Skull T's will probably be like $10 each, I have to check with my local guy who does my shirts?

RELIC'ING & AGING SERVICES:I have been doing a lot more relicing of Guitars and parts and have had people sending me their items for me to relic for them. So look for more Relic'd parts on ebay for Tele's Strat's and LP's. Some of you have already checked out my newest Tele Relic project if not please do so and let me know what you think of it?
