1958 Les Paul Special

Original 1958 Gibson Les Paul Special Husk.

Husk only "NO PARTS"

I received this on trade and just don't have the time to restore it.

This Special will be a beautiful guitar once restored.

When I received it. It had a terrible red finish on it .
We stripped everything except for a bit of clear over the original binding.

There was a repaired fracture that is almost invisible at the headstock. I had a hard time seeing it through the old paint.
As you can see in this photo It's invisible:

It's had Grover tuners on it.

When I received this, The only part on the guitar from the 50's was the pickguard.

I am selling without parts to make the price more attractive to those that want old wood at a reasonable price and not worried about the vintage correct parts.

I put some parts on it to make sure it played well and it does.

The Mahogany is just beautiful on the guitar.
I partially mocked it up with parts to make sure it played well.
