Vintage MXR Boxes
I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. I have several "vintage" MXR stomp boxes from the last century. Inside is some thin gray foam which keeps the battery from rattling around, and surrounds the circuit so it doesn't short against the cast metal case.
After all these years the foam has disintegrated, turned to dust, and is totally useless. I'm looking a source for replacement foam? Any recommendations?

Re: Vintage MXR Boxes
Seymour Duncan uses foam in the packaging of thier pickups that might work.
You might try some craft stores for foam or use bubble wrap for a temporary fix. |

Re: Vintage MXR Boxes
I use the foam out of the type of sponge used to sand cement in most my Custom Built pedals.
I was told it lasted much longer than average packing foam. So far so good...
