DiMarzio 5-Ways vs 3-Ways
I'm curious about the DiMarzio 5-Way Pickup Selectors. They have a Split Coil design and a standard 5-Way design. I assume that you can get more options with the split coil, but I'm having troubles finding schematics on its use; and also on how to wire a 3 pickup design.
Any URLs, info, advice, opinions are appreciated to help me learn more on this. I don't have to go with DiMarzio, it's just one that I've seen that looked like a quality product. |

Re: DiMarzio 5-Ways vs 3-Ways
Not sure if your talking about the pups themself or using a 5 way Fender type switch?
Here is a color guide SD vs Larry D and options. Maybe check the DiMarzio site, SD has diagrams for ANY setup. Guitar Wiring Site OR This is how I wired my homebuilt with 1 vol, 1 tone H+H pups and a 5 way>>> http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...tone_super5way Just change the wire colors from the first link from SD to DiMarzio, I used 2 high gain pups and like it?
