Hum/buzz when volume halfway
I'm sure I've seen this topic on the forum somewhere but my search-fu and Google-fu have failed me!
When my volume knobs are on 10 I get zero earth-type buzz. As I wind them down the buzz appears, then disappears again as I go to 0. Any thoughts?

Re: Hum/buzz when volume halfway
That probably is a ground problem somewhere in your chain not your guitar. If you have a lot of pedals check your cords. I had the same thing and narrowed it down to one patch cable not making a good connection. Changed it out and problem solved. Way I was told is if you turn down the volume it changes the impedance and if you have a problem in your chain you'll hear it.
It could be a bad pedal too. Trial and error. Plug straight into the amp and slowly add stuff. |
