PA sytems
I am shopping for a new PA system, and I am leaning towards Carvin.
Years ago we used Carvin systems for touring Japan and parts of the US, and never had any issues at all. Now that I am putting my own band together I am starting to look at systems that will do medium to large clubs/outdoor venues. So what are you guys that are currently gigging using?

Re: PA sytems
I use Mackie boards, QSC amps, and Yorkville Speakers(Mains & Monitors) . For outboard gear I use Lexicon dual channel effects. DBX EQ and Berhinger Compressor/Gates. Of course the reliable Furman conditioners. Yorkville make some great powered mixers that have built in effects and can power mains and monitors at a great price without sacrificing quality. I also use the Yorkville subwoofers. 18" for large venues and 10" for pubs. Cheers!

Re: PA sytems
Crisp and clean. I also use Yorkville amps. But you can sure tell the difference against the QSC. And the Yorkville's are great so that tells you how good the QSC's are.

Re: PA sytems
+1 for the QSC amps and Mackie boards.
Check out McCauley loudspeakers. McCauley.com : Home Built near my hometown. I think they sound great and have never had an issue with them. Solid. Will |
