Anyone play Alnico II pros through a Blackhearl Killer Ant?

Just wondering if anybody uses Alnico II pros in their guitar and plays through a wide open Blackheart Killer Ant amp? If so, can you get a good overdriven tone for hard rock?

Alnico IIs can get hot no doubt if thats what your asking......

I purchased a Killer Ant last fall when they first came out but I do not own a cab so It's still in the box. (never even broke the seal on the packing tape) I've been playing through my Mac Laptop/Guitar Rig 3 and headphones. I've heard the Killer Ant through youtube videos and they sound great with some of the Gibson humbuckers. But the Alnico II's are a lower output pickup and I wondered if the lower output pickups would still produce a good overdriven tone.

I will eventually buy or build a 2x12 cab when I get my remodeling finished. Real life sometimes gets in the way of fun.
