any way to change the wires

i have a burst bucker in the bridge, and its got the nice steel braided cable, going to the pots ....is there any way i can keep my stock epi neck pick up but swap out the crappy yellow red black wires for the nice braided wire or would i have to buy a new pick up.

I do it quite a bit however if you have not done it then here is what you will be in for.
1- remove cover
2-remove surround tape
3-carefully pull the bobbins off so you have access to the solder joints .
4-remove wire off leads without breaking the wire " generally there is so much wax on some pups that finding these are next to impossible once they break.
5- solder your new wire on and reverse the steps.
If you don't have backups for the pickup then I wouldn't do it. It can be a pain. I can do it in about 5 minutes but when I started I can't tell you how many I "f" up

yeaaa a ne neck pick up is looking very probabal lol i just thing it cheapens it a little bit ya know lol that and im gonna get new PIO caps so i might as well save up lol
