new guitar, used strat (for the people who have followed my strat quest)

(for the people who have followed my strat quest): I have asked a lot of questions about strat...finally I bought an Am Stand Strat (for a nice price) and now my Alumitones are on there way. I will give a tone report when I get them up and running...(maybe a month...yes I am slow)...BTW the axe is a nice sparklely red
(like the fires of suns exploding into the breath of jazz)

I have the Alumitone humbuckers installed on my SG copy and they sound great.

I've been wanting to post some sound samples (as promise in another post) but I just can't seem to get my computer to play nice with my recording software since I upgraded to Vista 64 bit version. I also won a Alumitone from Lace
Lace Music Products | Since 1979 | ::JOIN THE SONIC SQUAD!::

They sent me one of the new 'splitable' humbuckers (which I requested)

I hope you enjoy your new guitar and Alumitones.

Congratulations man! American standards are a great way to go. I played a gorgeous sienna sunburst one the other day. Nice smooth neck and perfect tone!
