There are no 'best strings'. Only personal preference.
My preference is d'addario XL's (.10's)

Elixirs, Nanoweb .10's, they last forever and have a pretty damn good tone

The problem I find with Elixrs is that only the wound strings are coated - the plain strings are just that - plain.

I like Elixir Polyweb Lights. The plain strings are also coated and not just the wound strings. They seem to last forever. They are especially good for someone who's hands sweat a lot.
