Help: 50's wiring Epi tribute - Series/Parallel

Can anyone tell me what I need to do (if it's possible) to convert this to 50's wiring? I want to keep the push/pull pots and series/parallel wiring.
Sorry for the poor diagram, but it's clearer than photos of the cavity.

If I am reading your diagram correctly you could unsolder the cap leads from the back of the tone pots and connect them to the center lug of the volume pots (same as the switch lead) and you should have 50's wiring.

That's easier than I thought it would be. I'll give it a shot later and let you know what happens, thanks.

You're welcome. Yeah it's a pretty simple mod. Have fun and I hope it works out for you.

Just tried that and now my tone controls seem to do nothing. But when I turn the volume control down I can hear the tone control making a difference but it's almost like it's working in reverse. When I turn the tone down the sound gets fuller and when I turn it up it gets a lot cleaner, more quiet, and just doesn't sound good.
Any suggestions?

The volume control doesn't seem to be having much of an effect either. When I turn it up or down, the difference isn't that much. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this before.

I was thinking of just buying 4 CTS pots and going normal 50s style if this doesn't work out because I never really use the push/pulls anyway but it would still be nice to have it there.

Well it's hard to tell what's going on without actually seeing clear pics of the wiring controls. It could be a grounding issue, if you want to post some pics I would be glad to look at them and see if I can spot what the trouble is.

Ok thanks, going away tomorrow so I'll post the pics next week.
Also, the long blue wire from the pickups that goes around the tone pot (in the above diagram) is actually the black wire (on pup) soldered to the back of the pot, then there's another small black wire coming from the back of the pot, to the lug on the push/pull. When I first saw it, I though it was one long wire going around the pot.
The bare wire is also soldered to the back of pot.

I know you have a lot more knowledge on this than me, but should the cap not be soldered to the outer lug of the tone pot too? This seems to be how it's usually done with 50's wiring.
Right now each end of the cap is on the middle lug of tone and vol pots.

The cap can be soldered to either lug on the tone pot and it will work and sound the same, that is not a factor for 50's wiring. The lug the cap goes to on the volume is what changes it from modern to 50's because of where it puts the cap in the signal chain.
