Passive EMG's in 08 VM Studio...need help.
This is my first post on this forum. I have an 08 Gibson VM Studio and a set of EMG passive pickups (H4/H4A). Other than the soldered connections, is there any modifications that need to be done (capacitors,pots...etc). I have the installation guide for the pickups, I'm just lacking a source of info on what is currently in my guitar. Any info would be greatly appreciated and I'll post pics on the process. Thanks.

i may be worng, but since they are passive pickups, you shouldn' have to change pots, etc. you might want to wait for the more knowledgeable people to chime in.
