Dunlop Crybaby Original Wah Pedal - Buffered?

Does anyone know if the new Dunlop Wah Pedals are buffered so"tone sucking" doesn't happen, or do I have to mod it to make true bypass? I know the vintage models don't have it, but I'm thinking of the 21st centure makes. Thanks

Re: Dunlop Crybaby Original Wah Pedal - Buffered?

Later board revisions for the GCB-95 do have an input buffer. The following link will help you if you decide there is still some tone suck. The good news is that no matter which version you have the true bypass mod is easy and inexpensive. If you click on "Wah Mods" at the bottom of the page it will take you to the main page which shows other versions of wah circuit boards. Since you are asking about newish wahs your board will almost certainly look like the one on the opening page of the link below. I hope this helps. Cheers!
