Wiring, pots/caps choice
Hi guys,
I'm have a 1979 Custom and am considering purchasing a new Set of 4 Calibrated 500 K Longshaft pots, under 5% tolerance and Luxe Paper-In-Oil Bumblebee 022m & 015mf. I need long shafts, right ? Are these good choices ? |

Re: Wiring, pots/caps choice
I just ordered a 500k harness from Mojo. Just send Tom an email and he'll set you up.
Hell, they didn't even offer LP JR harnesses but they built me one and Tom said he'd be adding it to the lineup. Great customer service and products! BTW, I believe you do need 500k longshaft pots. If you want a vintage tone I would definitely go with PIO caps. IME it makes an incredibly small (but noticeable) change to sound and taper.
