Seymour Duncan "Joe Bonamassa" SET HAS ARRIVED !

Hey guys,

Put the Bonamassa's in today, and holy crap ! These thing sound dead on to ALOT of videos i've seen of Joe his Skinner Burst '59 - Very airy, and dry sounding! I truly feel like these are the most vintage accurate PAF Replicas i have played yet !

I put them in my E.J. Lynch '59 Inspired (E.J. Lynch '59 Inspired - The Gear Page)

And they are mixing together perfectly -

They ran me $375 + Shipping, but as by far as good as any Throwbaks or Stephens Designs i've ever heard for ALOT less

WOW! Everything I hoped for and more.. I have mine laying out to be put in tomorrow. Work had me this week or I'd be playing em now. Think I might buy another set before they are sold out. for my LP #2. WOW!

Yah man they surpassed my expectations by far !

HIghly considering another set for my Les Paul build that's in process right now !

bridge sounds great, neck a bit dark and middle has no chirp at all. It sounds as if the neck tone pot was rolled down (thus affecting both the middle and neck position).

If that was the normal sound with the tone and volume at 10 that set is not for me.

Agree completely, are you sure you had not rolled the tone one the neck pup? Listening to it it seems like you were not very pleased with it also and you quickly changed pups

On Joes demo the neck pup also doesnt sound as dark.

Consider where the camera is placed - if it's near the microphone, it's normal to hear a darkened tone.

Consider also the cable used: if it's long and if there's 1 or 1,5 nanofarad of capacitance between the guitar and amp, don't wonder why it sounds as if the tone pot was rolled back.

Just my 2 cents.

My set of SD JB's are reading 7.63K & 8.03K -

The little girl is my buddy Louis' daughter. And YES, she was very tired of hearing us play . . . .
