Wiring/Tone question

My LP is wired with 50's style wiring, orange drop caps and CTS 500K pots. Would a treble bleed mod still help in this configuration? I've found it is much better than traditional but I still lose my sparkle when playing clean rhythm on my neck pickup. What do ya'll recommend?

Take out the Orange Drops...they emphasize the high-midrange frequencies (a.k.a. "ice-pick in the ear").

An RS Electronics Upgrade kit will give you your sparkle while retaining body/fatness/warmth/guts/low-mids (a.k.a. "the good stuff")...

And if you use an RS Upgrade Kit, you'll have no need or use for the treble bleed mod...
