Bonamassa's new song and album

Ok guys I am a self-admitting Bonamassa maniac, fanboy, or whatever you want to call it. I like him through his whole career. Some think he has become too refined and not enough edge like his earlier stuff (i.e. Live at Rockpalast) but I have really dug it all so far. I just found this video from a few nights ago because it was on his FB. The song is very beautiful and the keyboard parts are really nice BUT no solo??? I am not asking for a giant face melting solo but a few subtle notes would be nice. I like the song but this is the first one I have heard that could go mainstream which Joe deserves but I would love to hear a little more guitar work. Believe me I appreciate subtlety and understand it. Thats why my fav new(er) album is Warren Haynes Man in Motion. A lot of that stuff is restrained big time (with the exception of 2 songs) but the notes he plays just are perfectly placed and make you want more in a very good way. Warren did rip it up live when he toured that album though. Joe's playing with Beth Heart was PERFECT! I love that album. When I go see Joe live I want a little more than whats in this clip. I always bring at least 20 new people to each of his shows in Indy and Kentucky and play his music during my set breaks every weekend for the past 4 years just to convert people. What do you guys think?

JB is the man, even if I didn't like it I would still buy the album. Gotta support the real thing when you find it. Even if you don't always love it 100%. Can't wait till he comes back to L.A.!

April, Beverly Hills. We have tickets, but I can't remember the exact date or the name of the theater. My wife's the detail person.

We've got a bunch of 2nd row tickets for the Indy show coming up. It will be great as always. I just wanted specific feedback on your thoughts for this particular clip

Re: Bonamassa's new song and album

After watching it and not just listening like last time.lol yeah its seems like its missing the solo. I kept waiting for it even tho I knew it wasn't coming. But I know joe is trying to be remembered for his writing these days, maybe he wanted to dumb this down and touch the girly's hearts. I se what your saying tho.

Yeah and I will have to give recognition to the lyrics. He is definitely finding his voice and these lyrics are wonderful. I don't mind listening and enjoying this live but if he stops doing his acoustic set I will be outraged!!! hahaha it is still my favorite part if his show every time
