Anyone teach me how to use a multimeter?

I've got one. I don't know how to set it or what to attach it to. I want to measure my pickups. I can post pix if it would help.

I'll post a pic or two from home this evening if no one else does.

Re: Anyone teach me how to use a multimeter?

for resistance in Ohms turn the setting to the Ohm symbol, touch the black probe to ground wire, red probe to the hot wire and it will give you the number you seek.

It works best to measure with pickups not attached to the pots.

I use multimeter at work all the time, it's easy especially if you read the directions that come with the meter first.........
