Gibson P90's

What is the key to balancing the P90's? I have a 61re-issue Casino(second one), and for some reason these P90's seem much more difficult to get balanced correctly. My first one I had I didn't seem to have to do anything really save for raise the pickup screws on the bridge pup a few turns so they were about .125" above the plastic plate. That was it. Good to go.

This Casino seems to be on the high end tone wise and no matter what I do both the bridge and neck just seem way to trebley for me. Anyways any suggestions as to what folks do would be appreciated. I am using a BC60 while I get a new tube set for my Bugera.

Now I have messed with the amp a ton too. Just can't seem to get rid of the high end on the pickups. Ok that's it, thanks
