rogue pedals

ok.. I had the comp and trem.
trem I keep.. just fine for me!
then I got delay and chorus.
also keepers.

you can list the things they don't do that more spendy items too..
but you can't, I can't, fault what these do..
I am fine with fulltone, my build, mxr, etc.. right in line with my rogues.

they are quiet. true bypass.. analog. except the compressor..
and work just fine.. smooth.. warm.. no big boost in power..(I dislike my EH Memory Toy for that reason.. brand new and for sale if anyone wants it--that pedal just doesn't match my amp builds with that boost in it)

in short. these are keepers.
if you want units that do more..
get one of these anyway... ! set and forget.. way good!

Re: rogue pedals

I just got the Comp and Delay. I like them, but need to spend more time understanding the Comp., I just don't have any experience with them in general.

Re: rogue pedals

mine pops first time I hit the switch, so I do that with amp on standby just to avoid the noise.

it's finicky about position in the chain but I finally got it in a pretty quiet place.. it'll do!

sustain---top right knob... past 12:00 you pick up noise.. that's typical but I think they could have done better.

Attack knob.. not much effect really.. fairly typical there, too.

level.. start at 9:00... attack 12:00 and comp or sustain whatever they called it. top right 11:30..
then experiment.. you'll find some neat compressed country sounds.. some nice interaction with modulation and delay pedals..

it adds brightness! so know that.

Re: rogue pedals

the reverb..
in the danelecto corned beef model...
is an echo.
I know, I just bought one.

so.. bear that in mind.
I'm looking for mods already.
-------

the rogue pedals. I'm way happy with.
I'm going to sell my DeltaLab chorus to get another rogue pedal.

the trem delay and chorus all went straight into my 18W marshall amps board..and I'm real happy with them, cheap or not!

Re: rogue pedals

I have the Analog Delay, great pedal for the $30 I spent on it.
