Re: Overdrive
Dude! Try a Lizard Leg Effects Flying Dragon! I have the dual boost version (the Draconis) because I like to have the option of more if I want it. Contact Steve Miller (I know right!) at lizardlegeffects.com to order one. He's a great guy. I know I sound like I work for them but I don't. I'm just a guitarist that spent 20 years trying to find THIS pedal! Check YouTube. gearmanndude dude! He demos the flying dragon I know but the Draconis might be there by now. It sounds great but it sounds better in person! Check it out.

Re: Overdrive
The short answer is......wait for it.......HELL YES! I noticed the ZoSo when I commented earlier and I too am a Jimmy page/Led Zep freak! Seriously though, it handles all of that and since simple is ALWAYS better, it only has one knobby. Well 2 with my Draconis Dual Boost. Simply turn it up to your desired level of Hey Hey Mama! You won't get real "hair until noonish to 1o'clock but past that your balls are swellin with pride. Also whats your amp situation? I have a Top Hat class A 35 watt and my sound(when playing gig volume outside the house) is basically first stage: all the way up and tamed with my volumes which this pedal loves to clean up with. Second stage(for leads and beefyness): around 1:00-1:30. Balls to the wall all the way up is always fun! All this said what makes this pedal simply like melted butter is how it doesn't change your sound. It simply boosts your sound you're working with like...well a 1959 Les Paul into a sixties Marshall plexi ala Jimmy Page. It takes what you have and intensifies the goodness and tone. Very transparent and true to tone. I feel I've gone too far......

Re: Overdrive
Well ill start at my guitar and work to my cabs, my 2 main guitars are a 1980 gretsch bst 5000 which is a solid body with superdistortion pickups but i am going to change those with seymour duncan 59s, my other main guitar is a custom made tele with a dimarzio chopper t in the bridge and a dimarzio minibucker in the neck, then im going into a ibanez ts9 tube screamer which i just put back on my board today to try to get pages 1977 live tone, then im going into a crybaby bass wah, which isnt the best but it does the job since my q535 crapped out and i had to barrow my friends bass wah, then im going into a mxr phase 45 then into a danelectro reel echo, then for a head i am using the 150 peak watt bugera 1960 which is a clone of a marshall 59 slp and then for cabs im running into 2 marshall 1960 vintage cabs
