Boss RC-20XL, built in drum machine?
I know the Boss RC-2 has the built in drum patterns but I don't see any mention of the RC-XL having this feature. Anyone have one of these and can confirm this? Thanks

Re: Boss RC-20XL, built in drum machine?
Nope. Strange but true. The little Boss RC-2 has a few more features (thats why I got it instead). I think it's a newer pedal. It's just a little tricky to work with the one pedal (although it does have the option to connect an additional one.

Re: Boss RC-20XL, built in drum machine?
That's what I thought. Very odd indeed. The Digitech Jamman has like 9 different drum patterns but I don't think that's gonna cut it. How are the drum tracks for the Boss RC2? I'm thinking any included drum tracks on one of these loop machines would leave alot to be desired. Looks like I'll have to end up buying a drum machine at some point. Good think is, you can always upload different drum tracks to the Digitech JamMan with the usb input.
Still trying to decide between the Digitech JamMan and the Boss RC-2. I was going to get the Zoom MR-8, 8 track to record but I just really feel I would have more luck with one of these loop pedals. I think I could get more creative. I know either would give me the abilty to record and layer tracks but I think the loop pedal would just be easier and more intuative. Maybe I'm wrong....... Thanks for the feedback eddie.
