Pots flush to the body Yes strange
Is it possible to have the pots flush to the body.
I don't want the knobs (dont ask) I want to have the shaft of the pot all the way in the guitar. No knobs but I want access to them so I'm not going to pull the pots out completly |

I do wonder why you'd want to do this. Here are two suggestions if you want to go all radical: No pots at all. Wire everything straight using the toggle switch as a neck/off/bridge selector. Drill the cavity plate and run them through the back.
Why in the world would you not want knobs on your guitar?

Id cut a piece of wood to fit snug in the cavity, so it wont rattle in there. Drill pot holes in you template to a size just shy of the thread diameter so you can screw the pots into your wooden cavity template followed by a small drop of glue to hold them still, place the template/pots in the cavity, your pots wont come through and should be nice and firm. Am i making sense?

I was hoping to find something that would extend the threaded part of the pot like a threaded tube that would screw onto the pot ending at top of turning part of the pot. It would have a enough room for a washer and the nut reason for this right lefty plus with split shaft could use the pick to turn the shafts and dial in what I want and its locked... this is not for a live guitar but a guitar only for home and studio |

Mmm, i see, id prob just write the settings in a book, bourns also make a low torque pot that is alot stiffer to turn if that helps, not a bad taper on them either.
But the plastic tubing sounds like a quick, easy solution. Screw some onto the pot shaft and bingo. Still i recommend your own book of tone and knobs on the pots.
