Has anyone here used a "Mod board" before?

Such as:

Onboard 2.5 Watt Guitar Amp- Drive a speaker OR Headphones!

and

Onboard Tube Distortion- COMPLETE installation Kit!

Considering getting one of each of these on the project guitar I'll be working on soon. I think the headphone preamp is a brilliant idea for home practice without disturbing others, and the Distortion kit is just a bit of fun. Just wondering if anyone has used these before and knows how well they work.

Thanks in advance.
