Just got this beauty this morning. Pickups are awesome.
The sound is something between P90 and Humbuckers.

The only thing I would change are tuners to locking ones. Restringing with Bigsby without locking tuners can be a bit challenging IMO.

I think it's cool that they started making these again. HNGD!

Think they only made 600 pieces of those worldwide. But who knows :)

Single/Dual switches AFAICT are basically coil tapping. I cannot tell I like "single" mode. It's a bit thin with much less bass, but suppose it would be fine in some cases. Also the Phase switch is a bit weird. It almost has no effect when pickups are in Dual mode. But when in Single mode with neck pickup almost all highs are lost. However if both pickups are in Single and pickup selector is in middle, then it sounds almost as acoustic guitar. The output volume is very reduced, so that might be reason why I think it sounds more acoustically.

For Bridge pickup all that I can say it reminds me on Strat sound. It's kind a very special tone. However the neck pickup in Dual mode is all you basically need :) It's just awesome. I could not believe how much bass it has, and what's more, how much highs, making it so full and clear. Think it has to do with slanted position.

The last switch is ground lift which kind a speak for itself. I connected the guitar directly to my mixer and PA via provided stereo jack/xlr cable (nice it comes with the guitar). Well its sounds like any guitar directly connected to PA. Nothing special. This second jack only allows you to use it with mic channel in case your mixer does not have HiZ input.

    Hope it helps :)
