Anyone got a pic of a Lucille with a Bigsby;I cannot find one.
So if I bigsby my Lucille I will be unique?Or at least the only guy around here with a hernia and a bad back?
Never seen one with a bigsby.
Lots of 335's with Bigsbys but cant find a 345 with one
+1 .. haven't seen one.. there might really be one somewhere out there though..
- yep, a Lucille with a Bigsby would certainly make for a "big boy" (spelling heavy) guitar I would think. As for the bad back - you're not alone on that one - lots of us can feel it when we strap on a true solid body Les Paul vs. a chambered one, etc. I know my back ain't what it used to be 20 years ago!
I saw one on ebay, but it still had the tailpiece on it, reversed, with the strings going straight through. Looked ok though. There's plenty of pics with the 355 and bigsby, which is essentially what a Lucille is....
yeah essentially yes, but missing a few key differences, the pictured 355 has no veritone switch, Lucilles have two inputs, one stereo and one mono
Coldsteal Keep your eyes on Ebay, I have seen a 345 or two with Bigsby's there
Another huge difference is NO F Holes.
I think it would own with a bigsby...until you put it on your back and played...
I am thinking about a full blown mod.Bigsby,57 classics,no varitone,50's wiring,locking tuners,RSkit.Maybe no locking tuners,but I hate the factory pos and the tp6.
I'm almost certain they were in the price list about 15 years back, but of course that doesn't mean they made any.
(Or possibly not. No references to them I can find. Lucilles were a bargain 15 years back. What happened to the prices?)
Gibson marketing figured out they were blowing out 355'S at firesale prices.Forget the F holes and the access plate. The same reason they wised up on the 333's versus a satin 335. I got both;happy camper.
Thought I'd post a Bealle Street Blue Lucy pic..sorry, self indulgence
Beautiful guitar,Steven;more pics?
Lemme work on that. Close ups?..back, front???
Beautiful ladies, congrats and thanks for sharing
Better idea of the blue is what I meant.
Not sure if I got this right..
Just can't seem to get the plaintop's character.
