what do you guys think about this? Seems awfully low priced no? Not original tuners and the case looks interesting... could it be a real vintage lifton case? I thought the Jr's came with very flimsy, rudimentary cases then :hmm:

on second thought, the case doesn't look like a '59/'60 etc. no idea what it is.

It's a 3/4 scale junior. Not sure on the year though.

    Crazy pickguard too.

I just don't think they are telling "the whole story."

    You know what? I'm a maroon - that's not a 3/4 scale. :slap:

Odd pickguard though, isn't it? I haven't the foggiest about the case, but I've never seen any old Lifton cases with that satin sheet cover.

The case is a '90 brown case, it's not a 3/4 and if you are interessed, check under the strange pickguard...We hate bad surprise...:laugh2::laugh2:

even with the changed bridge, tuners, refret, (has it been refinished? does it have the serial number?), still seems like a good price to me.

I'd ask for a few more pics, run them by BCR/Greg - he knows more about Juniors than anyone on the planet I think.

Yes it's odd. I don't think I want to investigate this one. Too many things are off.

Thanks guys, I've got sufficient feedback to back off this one.

Betcha there are routed pockets for a neck pickup and controls under that oversized pickguard.
