Sweet guitar. I'm still downsizing and I'm keeping the Cookie Norlin White Custom, so sadly this one goes. If interested please bid!!

    Item number 320641326937

Reserve at 2G. I paid more but I have no idea really a fair price with things like they are these days, so that's why it's an auction.

Nice. I'm not a Custom or a trem guy but that is seriously making me doubt my position!!!

    Nice!

    It's a '87 not a '82 by the way: 82857819

Alrighty then. Very curious to see how much it will fetch. It's not much of a contest between yours and the hugely overpriced Randy Rhoads Reissue...!

Yeah the older whites turning yellow are desirable. The tremolo reduces that to some degree from what I gather. I don't have a clue! :laugh2:

Won't a replacement bridge and tail piece take care of that?

I think people have done that, but I think it has a route for the tremolo though.

I had an 80's LPC with a Khaler and it was routed. The previous owner converted it and filled the hole with a block. Its not as big as a Floyd route, but its there.

Is yours actually a Khaler and routed? Looks like it could be one of those add-on things with no route.

That's what I thought as the tremolo doesn't sit flush on the tail piece studs.

It is a factory installed Gibson branded Kahler. The top is routed.

Sweet guitar. I have an 86 Custom with the factory Kahler. Very underatted guitar. Someone is going to find that out if they buy it.

Yes. The color in the route seems to match the overall finish as well.

When I got up and saw the comments I went in with the iphone, which took terrible pix but you can see.

Also, the fish scale reports it as 10 pounds 8 ounces. Neck is not super slim but not R7 fat either, somewhere in the middle.
