Completely stock (the close up picture shows a Tone Pros roller bridge, but I will keep that and ship guitar with stock bridge).

Acquired about a month or so ago from a member on TGP.

Only reason for selling it is I had a Bigsby planned for it...alas, the Norlin-era spec (center line of stop bar tail piece to end) is too short for a Bigsby. Dont want to shim or mod the guitar or the Bigsby, so I need to find a good LPC that will work.

Made at the Nashville Plant, September 25th, 1980, per serial number research.

Excellent condition -- i'd say 9.8 out of 10. Two sets of tiny dings on the surface, one between bridge pickup and lower bout:

And the other on the upper bout:

sold with Gibson USA case, standard pink lining and cover shroud. . Case is in good shape, save for the combination lock latch is stripped. All the other latches work fine.

    PRICED TO MOVE, BUT FIRM,
AT 2200 + paypal fees if any + shipping. No trades.

    This is a good deal.
You'd be hard pressed to find a LPC from that era in this good a condition for any less.

some of the horn shapes were a little pointier in this era,...other pix from LPs of this time frame will bear that out..

That really is a good price.
The pickups (probably ink/date stamped) in the 80's Customs are superb.

I did discover there is a series of small nicks at the heel and one tiny ping in the cutaway:

This guitar has no issues, plays flawlessly ... i got it off a gentleman whos an interesting player and collector, and i think he had it just to have. Its been barely played from what i can tell... in fact, when i first had it it felt unplayed, a little stiff... ive put 5 or 6 hours on it,so it's loosened up a bit.

Frets are in great shape, but they are lower, as was the style for these.

Mine's way nicer and would cost a helluva' lot more money.
No affiliation here with the OP, but that's a deal.

Update: forgot to add that yes, i have the original pickguard and screws , they'll be sent along.

Others have PM'ed re weight: my bathroom scale is pretty inaccurate, but my guesstimate -- knowing about how much my scale is off, and how this one weighs compared to others - that its on the upper side between 9 and 10 pounds. De finite ly has some heft, but not a back breaker either.
