Looking for a 2x12 Cabinet but...
Here is the thing. I have 2 different Tube Amps that I'd like to be able to use with it (not at the same time). My V32 has an 8ohm speaker out, and my AC4tv has a 16ohm.
So what ohms do the drivers in the cabinet need to be? I want a 2x12 to have that stereo sound. Thanks! |

Re: Looking for a 2x12 Cabinet but...
Check out the cabinets from South Valley Vintage Amps. I have their 1x12.
Their cabs are Pine. My 1x12 sounds worlds better than my ex-birch ply cab. Pine is nice and resonant and light too. The 2x12 is cool because they will wire it a few ways. But you can run either speaker on its own or run them together. Check out their chart on the 2x12 page. I got black tolex and a wheat grill. Nice. Neil |

Re: Looking for a 2x12 Cabinet but...
Thanks for the replies, I am pretty sure I want to get a 2x12, but I guess my major concern is that I have one 8 ohm amp and one 16 ohm. Could I run either one with any 2x12 cab?
