No likes tube amps without need of attenuator for true home use? You gotta be kidding me! Tell you what, given that the Little Giant half stack is $280, this things gotta come in under $200. I am all over this!!!

I'm still waiting for these to hit the stores. I was going to go for the Little Giant, but I think as I intend to use this for home use noodling I think the smaller wattage of the Killer Ant might be the way to go. Be curious to see what kind of reviews they get once they are more widely available.

Re: Blackheart Killer Ant Mini-Stack Demo!!!

Sounded pretty good to me from the video I posted. I'm more into amps these days as I am so happy with my guitar. No other guitar is in my hands right now. As far as amps go, I'm a bit crazy for all of them right now lol! I want this to blast in the house without breaking windows, sounds good, and the things a conversation peice! Cheap, tiny, kicks ass. I might trade in my Peavey Windsor when I can afford their upcoming 100Watt head.....it's a 2 channel job.....looks like it will be priced reasonably too

Sweet! Its not just 2 channel, you can switch the wattage from 100 down to 75/50/30 or some variances like that. Talk about versatile!

I love low wattage amps. But they have to have reverb!
This one looks nice though. You'll be surprised at just how loud a a watt tube amp can get.

Samash.com has them! really cool. I bet they handle pedals nicely.

Re: Blackheart Killer Ant Mini-Stack Demo!!!

Thanks for that decoy. I checked the site and it says that they are "On Order", so still not actually available. I couldn't wait any longer for an amp, so I picked up an Epi Valve Jr, with an attenuator mod so I can run it at 2 watts, for short money. I figure if it doesn't work for me, I can always sell it and pick up the Killer Ant then.
