Yes,do you have a closer pic? How dose it sound? My DR112 sounds as good as my DR103 did. I got it three days after trading the Custom 100.

Re: Show your amp!

Since my gig was cancelled, I now have time to post my amps. Just a few quick pics...

Me Marshalls. Modded G10MkII and a 5210 with a Jensen MOD speaker on the left, slightly modded DSL on the right. I swapped a cap so the EQ would sound the same for both channels. Cab is a Carvin but with 2 Eminence Cannabis Rex speakers.

Next up, Fenders...

Re: Show your amp!

'52 "600." It was once thought this version didn't appear 'till '53, but the handwritten SN puts it in late '52. Completely stock, even the power cord.

This one has the Cleveland speaker. It probably ain't the best. You can also see the RCA blackplate 6V6 peeking through.

'62 Pro. Stock except for the power cord (I saved the orig. 2 prong). Oxford speaker.

'65 Tremolux & late '77 Pro Reverb. I run the T-lux thru the same 2X12 as the DSL pictured above.

Lastly, my '82 Champ II. Great sound & power for its size; it murders Fender's recent similar sized amps (Blues Jr., etc).

(edit) I forgot that the upper back panel on the '62 Pro was recovered; it was pretty much bare wood when I got it.

Re: Show your amp!

I moved from a townhouse in a college town to a small apartment in the city. I bought a Vox AC4TV8 to play at low volume. Nice little amp. In spite of this, I am considering buying a hotplate for the Super Reverb.

Re: Show your amp!

My now discontinued limited run Palomino V32H 30W Class A Head & Palomino V212 Cabinet. These were hardly around long enough to get a ton of written reviews but all the reviews ranted and raved on this 10/10 combo...it really does scream. It's like taking a Twin Reverb & cross pollinating it with a JCM 800...amazing. Even kicks back 45* like the old sweet cabs used to do.

Re: Show your amp!

I just picked up this Blackheart BH5H amp and cabinet yesterday as a practice amp. Great sound and LOUD - very LOUD. This is not a bedroom amp, even at 3 watts. It is LOUD, and dripping with tone. I am very pleased with it.

Modifications? Bitmo 10-uator and Bitmo Triple Bypass tonight. Added a NOS 12AX7. Stock EL84 seems fine.

It is a great combination. One clearly voiced for the other. I couldn't be happier with the amp. It is probably the best musical instrument purchase I've made. Of course, I let a $1400 USD Vibro-King get away from me. But I try not to think of that one.

Hey Marantz! Finally took some pics of the P.A.100. It's in rough shape cosmetically. Someone butchered the front for who knows what reason? I found it at a garage sale for 20 bucks! I had it rewired so that it has channel one before the preamp tubes and channel six after(without cutting!). i get some really insane tonal variations. It is very unique.

Re: Show your amp!

BMS. Its a shame Freddy Kruger was the last owner ,but what a fantastic amp .I'd Love to have it and such a bargain. I use to have a similar Sound City PA,which I picked up for £25. I gave it away, full of Mullards .Doh!. I do a similar thing to your amp wiring mod, using a lead I knocked up.

Very interesting? So, do you utilize each channel? Does it make it louder? It must wail for sure!

Love your Les Paul BTW! I dig those inlays. It's got some real style!

Re: Show your amp!

It makes it sound thicker and way louder(not that it needs it). I'm going to experiment with pedals, feeding each into a different input,so I can adjust individual tones and levels. The inlays look more a bit greener usually. The flash makes them like they are in the pic.
