What do you think of the boost channel on yours, coldsteal? I almost never use mine, its terribley flabbly sounding. For lead its OK, but for rhythm playing it just doesn't cut it. I use the normal channel and run an SD-1 to get heavy. I really like the spring reverb too.
Looks great,

I have the head, they are single
Chanel so theres no boost on it.

Re: Show your amp!

I only own 1 amp these days it's a VHT Pittbull Super 30, only 200 of these were made so it is not too common to see around! Its a 30 Watt cathode biased EL84 based amp, best 1x12 I have played thru!

Re: Show your amp!

This pales in comparison with the other amps here, but it may be interesting none the less. Being in Korea I had resigned myself to playing on a solid stateamp as everything is so expensive here, and small amps haven't hit here yet. Well, just today I saw an all tube (minus the rectifier I think) amp and speaker ''stack'' for $270 - I bought it. I think it may be 7 watts because its name is Tube-7, but the guy in the shop spoke next to no english. It is made in Korea. It is pretty cool, but way too clean really, only getting a little dirty when dimed - it has a boost switch that seems really to be just a treble-boost. It has a 12AX7 and a 6L6CM. It has volume, treble and bass controls - no gain knob... I am trying to think of a good pedal to put in front of it -I actually saw a couple of used Exotic pedals for sale - would they be an effective way to drive a very clean amp into distortion? Would replacing the 6L6 with a 6V6 be easy and would it help?

Anyway, I am quite happy to watch it glow as I play, check it out:

Yup ! I wired my 4x12 cabs to 4 OHMS, and the 2x12 to 8 OHMS.
My 2210 and 1992 JCM 800s are set to 4 OHMS, as are my Bassman heads.
With my 4 OHM THD Hotplate, I run my amps cranked and get amazing tones with both Marshall's master volumes dimed. Power tube tone, baby
6L6's and EL34's forever man !
